The Fiesta has since evolved, and 14 years later, the Brunswick St, and China Town Malls become the centre of activity, with entertainment round the clock all weekend!
There are over 60 acts on the program this year, Tex Perkins and Tim Rogers (TnT), are headlining, along with Regurgitator, Sarah McLeod, The Bird, Nick Earls, TZU, Darren Hanlon, and Starky, to name a few. Red Carpet Projects - Victoria Park Golf Complex September Holidays Kids Programs
Victoria Park supports ‘healthy kids’Brisbane kids will be spoilt for choice during the September holidays with Victoria Park Golf Complex hosting a number of entertaining golf events, clinics and lessons for children. The aim is to get the little ones out of the house, away from the television and most importantly, active!
There is also a School Holiday Clinic on 4th and 5th October which is a two-day fully supervised camp that Victoria Park runs every school holidays. The camp will cover irons, woods, chipping, outing and rules and etiquette. Children will be under the supervision of a PGA Professional Golf instructor for the duration where they can enjoy a game on the course with clubs and balls included, refreshments and a certificate of completion to take pride of place on the wall at home.
For juniors who maybe a little more experienced, the PGA National Junior 9 Hole Shootout may just be the place for them to make their mark. On Friday October 6th, children aged 9-14 years can experience a warm up on Victoria Park’s prominent driving range and then head out onto for the course for the competition.
